Interpreting is a highly challenging job and conference interpreters face an amazing variety of settings and circumstances throughout their career. AIIC has capitalised on its global reach and more than 50 years of existence to distill its collective wisdom in a set of basic texts, which serve to provide guidance to interpreters in a multitude of different conditions. These are also publicly available and serve as a benchmark for clients to recognise the hallmark of professional interpretation.
Code of Professional Ethics
AIIC's Code of Professional Ethics covers professional confidentiality and other ethical principles.
Professional Standards
Our Professional Standards define the working conditions required for high-quality interpreting and the protection of the interpreter's health and safety.
Regional Statutes
The Greece and Cyprus Region has its own Statutes which contain Rules of Procedure that regulate our internal organisation.
